Following a launch event on 20th April, when co-host Jimmy Doherty was in attendance to welcome food writers and bloggers, The Jersey Royal Company were delighted to be part of an industry PR campaign event that saw a Jersey Royals pop up cafe open in Covent Garden for the weekend.

Having taken over what is during the week a bustling, lunchtime sandwich shop, the venue was transformed into a Jersey Royal tardis!

Images of Jersey adorned the walls, and punters were invited in to taste Jersey Royal canape recipes that had been developed by Jimmy, or to simply have a cone of Royals to take away as a snack.
